The message the angel gave the shepherds in Luke 2:7-14 when Jesus was born was good tidings of joy. The angel said, the coming of Christ has brought great joy, glad tidings and peace. These words were uncommon to them because the awesome definition of the Gospel is a message that is too good to be true.

Before the coming of Jesus Christ, there was no peace between God and man because of sin. God was always angry with the human race but still needed to relate with man, which was why He instructed Noah to build an ark for Him, to save as many as possible from the wrath that was to come. Yet, Noah’s descendants fell into sin. God was still not satisfied.

Not again: AirAsia Flight QZ8501 likely at 'bottom of the sea'

Not again. Must all Asia missing flights be at the bottom of the sea? This is the second time an Asia flight is losts in the sea in one year. The officials are saying that The missing AirAsia jet probably crashed into the sea, Indonesia's top rescue official said Monday, citing radar data from the plane's last contact.

"Our early conjecture is that the plane is in the bottom of the sea," Bambang Sulistyo, head of Indonesia's national search and rescue agency, told reporters, saying the view was based on the plane's flight track and last known coordinates.

But searchers still don't know exactly where the aircraft is, he said, and may need help from other countries for an underwater search.

It was around past 4 in the morning around mid-October,after ending the normal ritual of night prayer to my Heavenly Father,i was feeling so uneasy in my Spirit, though i'v always have strange feelings sometimes at night, but it always points to a single direction of me being a man.
But this feeling within me was different,i wasn't feeling dizzy;so what type of rare feeling could this be?.
Still standing and thinking about such feeling,i didn't know what happened next, may be i collapsed on the chair or i was struck by someone, that still remains a mystery unraveled.

A Season of Preparation: Getting Ready for All God Has for You

Winter is a dormant season. It's a time when trees become bare and most of the grass, plants and flowers die off. But winter is also a time of preparation—as roots and tree saps respond to soil and temperature changes to prepare for growth that comes in the spring.

In much the same way, you and I go through spiritually dormant seasons. These are the seasons when God seems silent…when our dreams and visions for the future seem lifeless. But although we may not see or feel anything exciting, it doesn't mean nothing is happening. A lot has to happen on the inside of us before we are ready to handle the future God has for us.

As we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, there are numerous benefits association with it that Christians should know and enjoy. In this short note, I have compiled 11 reasons for the coming of Jesus Christ.

1. That the believer may have Abundant Life: (John 10:10 NET Bible) "The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come so that they may have life, and may have it abundantly." I declare your season of fullness is now, In Jesus name.

2. To Save The World: (‭John‬ ‭3‬:‭17‬ AMP) For God did not send the Son into the world in order to judge (to reject, to condemn, to pass sentence on) the world, but that the world might find salvation and be made safe and sound through Him.
Ref. John 12:47 "If anyone hears my words but does not keep them, I do not judge that person. For I did not come to judge the world, but to save the world."
I declare your deliverance from every affliction, in Jesus name. Continue after the cut

Is there life after death? Read these experiences.

William Peters was working as a volunteer in a hospice when he had a strange encounter with a dying man that changed his life. The man’s name was Ron, and he was a former Merchant Marine who was afflicted with stomach cancer. Peters says he would spend up to three hours a day at Ron’s bedside, talking to and reading adventure stories to him because few family or friends visited.

When Peters plopped by Ron’s beside around lunch one day, the frail man was semi-conscious. Peters read passages from Jack London’s “Call of the Wild” as the frail man struggled to hang on. What happened next, Peters says, was inexplicable. Peters says he felt a force jerk his spirit upward, out of his body. He floated above Ron’s bedside, looking down at the dying man. Then he glanced next to him to discover Ron floating alongside him, looking at the same scene below.

Church becomes a home for Immigrant mom to avoid deportation

PHILADELPHIA (AP) -- Nine-year-old Mariana Mendoza had to give up her pink bedroom and bike when her family moved from a two-story rowhouse into a cramped church annex last month.
But that's OK with her - as long as her mom is safe.

"Because if she didn't move, maybe they could deport her," Mariana said.
Her mother, Honduran immigrant Angela Navarro, has lived in fear of being sent back to her native country for 10 years. Tired of running scared, Navarro sought sanctuary at a Philadelphia house of worship while she and her supporters work to gain legal status for her.

How to Receive from God 2; Ask Right

Christians should learn to always be grateful to God for what He has done and not take His provision for granted. Naturally, if you give a person a gift and he doesn’t appreciate it, it certainly will not bring joy to you. In the same way, we must appreciate God for all He has given us with grateful hearts.

1 John 5:14-15 says, ‘And this is the confidence we have in Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He heareth us. And if we know that heareth us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of Him’. Continue to read

Pope in blistering critique of Vatican bureaucrats

Pope Francis issued a blistering critique Monday of the Vatican bureaucracy that serves him, denouncing how some people lust for power at all costs, live hypocritical double lives and suffer from "spiritual Alzheimer's" that has made them forget they're supposed to be joyful men of God.

Francis' Christmas greeting to the cardinals, bishops and priests who run the Holy See was no joyful exchange of holiday good wishes. Rather, it was a sobering catalog of 15 sins of the Curia that Francis said he hoped would be atoned for and cured in the New Year.
