Nine, Including An American, Picked Up In Continuing Ghana Cocaine Saga

Meanwhile, a Deputy Director at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Abiel Ashitey Armah and two others have been dragged to court by the government for allegedly assisting Nayele Ametefe to transport cocaine from Ghana to the UK. Nine more people have been picked up by Ghanaian security operatives in connection with the cocaine bust involving a Ghanaian woman, Nayele Ametefe at London’s Heathrow Airport. The arrest of the nine came after a swoop by a team of security agents. The nine arrested include two ladies who are believed to have travelled with Miss Ametefe but baled out when she was accosted by airport officials. Their names have been given as Nana Akua Amponsah and Sadalia Sandra Nuhu.
The others picked by up by the Bureau of National Investigations (BNI) are Paa Kwesi Acquah, Sandra’s boyfriend; Mustapha Kilba, a cousin of Akua Amponsah and Faisal Khadar, an American.
The rest are Abdulla Mustrah, Mouiw Jaafar and Charbel Nasr, all Lebanese, and Mariotto Benard Young, an Indian.
