Stop saying evil against President Jonathan, Cleric cautions politicians

PRESIDING Bishop of Zion City Revival Ministries with headquarters in Lekki, Lagos, Bishop Mike Johncleanton, has cautioned Nigerians especially politicians, to desist from making derogatory remarks about President Goodluck Jonathan.

Speaking at a media parley in his Lagos office, the bishop also warned those making the nation ungovernable to have a rethink as they will soon be brought to justice. The Cleric said the insurgents are a threat to the peace and unity of Nigerians and called on the Federal Government to tackle the menace in a quiet manner, arguing that Boko Haram is more of spiritual, a threat to the development, peace and unity of this country. On the Chibok girls, the cleric said their abduction is for the spiritual pollution of Nigeria as a nation, maintaining that those who want to turn Nigeria into an Islamic nation will fail as others have failed. The cleric also urged Lagosians to be prayerful to avert a major division.

Timaya, Patoranking, other Nigerian Celeb set for Shiloh 2014

For many, especially their fans, these artistes are far from God, going by their celebrity statuses and the kind of musical videos they have out there. But not many know that they also partake in the annual end of year prayer conventions, Shiloh, organised by Bishop Oyedepo of Winners Chapel.
The ‘Bum bum’ crooner Timaya took to his Instagram page to reveal that despite the kind of music he does, he still goes for Winners Chapels’ annual end of year Christian convention, Shiloh.

Dem Mama  record owner Timaya promoting the annual event, also mentioned fellow artistes like, Skales, Patoranking, Runtown and Wizzy Probeats as some of those he attends the Shiloh with.
Hear him, “It’s another amazing time to be blessed. I have had so many breakthroughs at SHILOH, @patorankingfire @youngskales @runtown @wizzyprobeat hope we keep the tradition”. Don’t be fooled by these young men’s lifestyles, they are apparently among millions that attend the annual Christian convention.

The briefcase fell to the ground when the driver of the car pulled away. Peter picked up the briefcase and ran after the vehicle, trying to flag the driver down to return the case to him but couldn't get the attention of the driver. He then took the briefcase to a police station near the junction.

South African Man faces deportation as UK wife's salary too low.

A man faces deportation from the UK after a judge said his British wife's salary was not high enough.
Michael Engel, from South Africa, said the "bizarre" immigration system rules were "attacking British citizens". Mr Engel, a 31-year-old yacht engineer living in Cornwall, said he and wife Natalie plan to go back to South Africa with 18-month-old daughter Nyana.A Home Office spokesman said the rules were designed to stop foreign spouses becoming reliant on UK taxpayers

The couple were told of the immigration tribunal's ruling after they had appealed on human rights grounds in a bid to protect their family life.UK top three and bottom three areas average gross full time pay (ONS figures April 2014) - Cornwall was in the lowest 10% of 410 authorities But under rules introduced in 2012, British citizens who want to bring a foreign spouse to the UK must earn £18,600 a year and a further £3,800 - a total of £22,400 - if the couple have a child. Mrs Engel's craft-making business made £19,786 in 2014 which was deemed not enough by the tribunal panel, which met on 3 December. She said the decision made her feel like her family was being "kicked out" of the country. She said: "I'm gobsmacked, lost for words, angry and deflated. I'm not so proud to be British right now." Ghanaian In The USA, Kwame Ajamu Acquitted Of Murder After 27 Years In Prison.

Kwame Ajamu was just 17 when he was convicted of murder in the killing of a Cleveland money-order salesman. On Tuesday, Ajamu, now 57 and out on parole since 2003, wept after a judge cleared all charges against him. “I’m so happy today that this battle had come to an end,” Ajamu said, according to Reuters. Cuyahoga County Judge Pamela Barker stepped down from her bench to give Ajamu a hug, the Associated Press reported. The case against Amaju, formerly known as Ronnie Bridgeman, began to fall apart after a key witness recanted his testimony decades after the conviction.

In 1975, two people had attacked Harold Franks with acid, and one of the people shot him. A third person drove a getaway car. A 12-year-old boy, Eddie Vernon, served as the state’s main witness in the case, and a jury convicted Bridgeman (as he was known at the time), along with his brother Wiley Bridgeman, then 20, and Ricky Jackson, 19.
